"CHEZ OPHELIA" is located at Copt Hall Estate in the Roseau valley comfortably close to the major attractions in the South of Dominica. The Roseau river with its pure crystalline water is excellent for river bathing and is right at our doorstep, while within fifteen minutes of your apartment are the majestic twin waterfalls at Trafalgar. Even closer by you will find the stimulating volcanic fumaroles at Wotten Waven where you can indulge in a health giving hot mineral spring bath.

                                

While our location places you in the heart of all that the Nature Island has to offer we are also only five minutes drive from the centre of Roseau the capital city, and twenty minutes from Canefield airport the major port of entry.

The Cottages

"CHEZ OPHELIA" has five cottages built in traditional Dominican style, each cottage having two studio apartments, a total of ten fully equipped apartments on the premises. Each apartment has  a comfortable room with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchenette (3 gas burners, 1 electric burner stove, refrigerator, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans), a comfortable living/dining area with two single beds; and your own private veranda.  To keep you in touch with the world on your own terms we have cellular phones available for a modest rent. You are in touch wherever you are in Dominica and if you travel with your laptop we have wireless connectivity!Of course maid service is provided as well as music!!!

My apartments are designed to hold three or four persons comfortably, but if your family or group is larger than three, then you can easily have a complete cottage since the apartments share a connecting door. To make your stay with me as pleasant and hassle‑free as possible we also have our restaurant which seats 40 serving the best Dominican dishes. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! In addition my souvenir shop  offers the widest selection of not only my own music but also all that Dominica's musicians have produced.

Discounts are available for groups and/or long stays.

Tours and hikes to scenic spots can be arranged.
